I loaded up steam, clicked download, waited for it to finish, etc. Hey Jay, Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of this trick, but what I’m trying to do is use this steam client to download the game files from Steam to my hard drive. (Maybe something broke between.8 and.9?) Make sure you are updating winetricks before attempting to run the Steam winetrick. Also, try: Rebuilding a wrapper using Wine 1.7.8 and see if that works. ![]() With the weird filename you are seeing along with the update hang, I would try uninstall/reinstalling Wineskin. Not sure what causes it, but in my case I had to uninstall Wineskin and reinstall it and start from scratch. I have had that issue where it hangs while trying to update.
